Virtual, End of Book Meetup TBD

Service Description

Teen book club that meets virtually with the exception of an in-person, end of book meetup in the Columbia area. Each club member receives a curated book box themed to match the current book selection along with a copy of the book. This session's book choice is Nigeria Jones by Ibi Zoboi. The first meeting is scheduled September 5th. Meetings are always on Thursdays with the exception of the end-of-book in-person meeting. The meeting schedule is provided in your book box. MEET THE FACILITATOR: Mrs. Latoya, who has been a homeschooler of two for the past six years, has previously worked in the insurance industry and did a little freelance writing on the side. Latoya's educational journey consists of a BA in Advertising from the University of South Carolina's School of Journalism and Mass Communication with a minor in Marketing. In 2009, she received her MBA from South University. Now, that she is eagerly in the throes of preparing her children to be future leaders, you will probably catch her curled up reading a good book during the little leisure time she is afforded.
